Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Brain Canvas? A: Brain Canvas is a place to share the most radical “What Ifs” your brain can put together. It’s a community of entrepreneurs and mental Michelangelos, painting a radical new vision of the future with every stroke of the key. Brain Canvas is the canvas for your brain. Reach inside your brain and pull out something beautiful.
Q: Who are you?
A: Preston and Andrew think of themselves as the Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid of the modern era. They are change agents and revolutionaries, always one step ahead of trouble.
Q: How does Brain Canvas work?
A: Each Monday we post our mental masterpieces for the week. Once an idea has been set free, we consider it free for all: take it and run with it, or remix it and send it back to the canvas. All we ask is that you give appropriate credit and tell your friends about Brain Canvas.
Q: What is a CC-BY License?
A: : This license lets you distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon our work, even commercially, as long as you credit us for the original creation. Do this by including a direct link to the Brain Canvas posting from which your work originated. Find out more about the CC-BY License here.
Q: Can I paint my own Brain Canvas?
A: Got a mental masterpiece of your own? Submit it to us. We’ll be periodically picking some of the best canvases to unleash upon humanity. The credit is yours, but the ideas belong to the world.
Q: I have a question that wasn’t covered in this FAQ. What should I do?
A: You can always contact us here, follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
